In late March 2010, she flew to Malaysia with students to award laptops, art supplies and scholarships for higher learning to the children of the Rumah Wawasan and Vision Homes in Ipoh, Malaysia. She painted three, large wall murals with her students in the mornings and taught art with her students to the children in the afternoons.
